Louis Zocchi Has Passed

 

I am sad to learn that Louis Zocchi has passed away. Perhaps best known for his dice and his Gamescience company, Zocchi was a well known hobbyist, game designer and publisher. His passing was reported by Victor Dorso who shared that the gaming legend passed away on April 16. 2026. 

My thoughts go to his friends and family

    A belated RIP, Lou. My knees still ache from playing too much Alien Space and Star Fleet Battle Manual as a kid, but the memories are worth it.

    I have been a Gamescience "Dice Prude" for almost 2 decades now. The sets kept getting more expensive but I couldn't help giving them away to other players. This is how I'll always think of Lou. Rest in peace, Lou.
